The Alexander Hamilton Society at GW
The Alexander Hamilton Society at GW is a student-led, nonpartisan organization committed to building an active community around serious discussion of international affairs, U.S. foreign policy, and national security. Through speaker events, policy debates, reading groups, and professional workshops, the Society encourages members to engage with complex global issues in a rigorous and open-minded way.
As part of the National Alexander Hamilton Society, a U.S. nonprofit dedicated to advancing informed dialogue on foreign policy and security, the GW chapter connects students with a nationwide network of scholars, policymakers, journalists, and practitioners. This affiliation allows members to take part in national conferences, leadership programs, and cross-campus collaborations, while gaining exposure to real-world career paths in government, think tanks, international organizations, media, and the private sector.
